Why it is important

Women partners of Men who have Sex with Men can experience complex emotional, relational, sexual health and family impacts. For many women, disclosure or discovery may bring shock, grief, confusion, health concerns, safety concerns or isolation.

For practitioners, having a deeper understanding of these experiences can help create safer conversations, better referral pathways and more informed care.

This program has been developed to support professionals who may work with women partners in health, counselling, social work, community, family support or related settings.
